and this is where management will ask whether “explore careers” means real openings or a talent pool, because neither is free to maintain.
“Get back to you promptly” is not a measurable commitment. A response target or support-hours statement would tell readers what prompt actually means. At my job, we found that a shared inbox looked responsive until we measured time to first reply separately from time to resolution. The two numbers were very different. I have not contacted this team yet, but I plan to test the support channel before relying on it. That would also show whether general inquiries and support are routed differently.
I would also want to know what happens when the support route fails, especially for access or account issues. In a smaller company like mine, a vague escalation path can turn a minor defect into a release blocker.
the phrase “passionate collaborators” makes me wonder who is actually on staff, and who is a vendor or contractor… that matters when i have to justify a partnership upward, especially across four technical areas. at my last company, leadership approved a broad technology program, then discovered the security expertise was mostly external, the renewal cost changed the whole plan. i like the ambition here, genuinely… a clearer view of the team and service boundaries would make the conversation much easier. headcount is not the only cost, contract ownership matters too.
Previous employer listed actual roles; devopsoasis should, but the ambition helps!
Yes, actual roles would make the careers section much more useful than a general invitation. We should clarify whether openings are active, planned, or simply a way to collect interest, and show the kinds of people currently contributing. That also gives partnership conversations a more concrete starting point! Would role descriptions and team ownership details answer what you are looking for?
